It's right in "our backyard" but do you know the history of Route 66 and its relationship to the US Highway system and history of Oklahoma. As one of the most popular, and certainly one of the most important, roads in our nation, Route 66 has a history worth knowing.
Join us as Rhys Martin, President of the Oklahoma Route 66 Association, takes us on a journey of how Route 66 emerged from the US Highway system and the iconic, eclectic history of the many fascinating places in Oklahoma which hosts the longest piece of the road in the country.
Light appetizers and a cash bar will be available.
