Angelo’s Italian Delicatessen is hiring a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Deli Clerk to help us deliver exceptional guest experiences rooted in tradition, flavor, and community spirit. We’re more than a deli—we’re a tribute to Italian heritage, Bethany’s first responders, and the timeless hospitality of a New York-style neighborhood shop.
Responsibilities
• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism
• Slice meats and cheeses to order with precision and care
• Assemble sandwiches, salads, and hot table specials to spec
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready deli station
• Restock displays, rotate inventory, and monitor freshness
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards (training provided)
• Support daily prep, opening/closing duties, and team collaboration
Qualifications
• Prior deli, food service, or retail experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive team culture
